We met her in The Savage Curtain, on the planet Excalbia. It wasn't the real Zora, but a duplicate created for Kirk and Spock to interact with.
The real Zora was an evil and ruthless woman who had experimented with the body chemistry of subject tribes on a planet called Tiburon. This replica of her fought on the "evil team" alongside of Klingon General Kahless the Unforgettable.
She doesn't distinguish herself in any significant way as we watch. She fights as well as any of the men.
